Serving Pequot Lakes, MN area for 5 years
Timber Bay officially began in the Pequot Lakes area in the spring of 2004. Since then, staff and volunteers have been developing long term relationships with middle level and high school youth. We meet weekly at the Eclipse Teen Center located just a block from the Pequot Lakes High School. We also meet spontaneously with youth, one-on-one, within the community.
The small town of Pequot Lakes is located about 20 miles north of Brainerd, in amongst the lakes and trees of central Minnesota. The area offers a variety of ways to minister to kids using the activities that are so apart of the territory–boating, tubing, fishing, skiing, hiking, hunting, etc.
