Each Timber Bay community outreach provides opportunities for the following positions:

Area Director

The Area Director develops and directs a total community outreach to troubled teens living in a specific community with 10-15% of the Area Director's time invested in activities at Timber Bay Camp. For a more detailed job description, click here.

Outreach Staff

An Outreach Staff person is a key support person within a community ministry. Outreach Staff work in association with their Area Director, and other staff in their area, as well as staff from other Timber Bay areas. An Outreach Staff person is totally involved in the community and camp outreach with the exception of the area's business management, which is the responsibility of the Area Director. WorkCrew Coordinator

The WorkCrew Coordinator is a vital part of the overall Timber Bay outreach as they concentrate their ministry efforts doing WorkCrew projects at Timber Bay Camp and then following up back in their home community. A WorkCrew Coordinator focuses their ministry on troubled youth between the ages of 14-18 and is supervised by their Area Director. For a more detailed job description, click here.

Short-Term Staff

Part-time job or summer experience involving the total YIF outreach. It is designed for individuals desiring an intense experience of ministry for the purpose of evaluating and/or preparing for a future youth outreach career with us or elsewhere.

Second Career

Meaningful part-time and full-time ministry opportunities include youth group ministry, one-to-one encounters, management support services, weekend hosting, and facility work at camp.

Volunteer Positions

Opportunities are available for those who would enjoy direct ministry with kids in our Timber Bay communities, or for those who would love to help us reach more young people by serving in management support services, weekend hosting, or facility maintenance.

 

At Timber Bay Camp

Ministry Internship

Learn by doing as you participate in all aspects of camp management: Recruiting, fund raising, facility management, programming, public relations, food service, or maintenance. Train with our experienced staff at Timber Bay Camp and Retreat Center.

Seasonal and Full-Time Camp Positions Available

If you'd love working at a Christian Camp, consider Timber Bay for your next seasonal employment. You'll find good pay and rewarding work experiences in the areas of foodservice, life-guarding, housekeeping and maintenance.  We're looking for seasonal staff of all ages (at least a high school junior) who are energetic, ministry-minded believers.
